Reflecting on the Black History Month Celebration
It was just exceptional to see young and old celebrating our people's culture, our history, celebrating life. I was really excited on last night. I was having a lot of flashbacks reminiscing. You know, my grandfather was former slave who was 104 when he passed in 1964 and so it was time of reflections, it was a time of visions, of looking to the present as well as looking into the future.
